Children in foster care should get permission from the agency (and the local Juvenile/Family Court if necessary) before obtaining a driver’s license.  Missouri law and CD require that children who drive have liability insurance.

Foster children must have written consent from the Missouri Children’s Division (and the local Juvenile/Family Court if necessary) to own a car.
